Giallo

Giallo is José Madero’s fifth solo album. Continuing the color scheme that characterizes all of his releases, yellow (giallo in italian) is the chosen color for this one. The mannequin on fire symbolizes an artist’s expected perfection and not being able to be free, imprisoned in its own body, forced to please and entertain. Giallo is also a niche cinema genre more famous in 80s Italy where horror, murder, mystery thrillers are the protagonists.
